Chateau Peyre-lebade (Lafite) Haut Medoc 2013 (Rv)
Château Peyre-Lebade wines feature the fruity and fleshy characteristics specific to the Haut-
Médoc appellation. They are nonetheless distinguished by the high Merlot content, which makes
them particularly supple.
Style: Beautiful intense crimson colour with violet hints. Very ripe red fruits on the nose (blackcurrant,
plum and strawberry) with fine liquorice and spicy notes. On the palate, the attack is smooth with
very soft tannins. A finish with a lingering fruit taste. Very pleasant to drink from 2011-2012 but worth
waiting a few years by laying down in a cellar with good conservation conditions. Potential ageing
of around 8 years.
