Chateau Paveil De Luze 2005 (RV) Margaux
Château Paveil de Luze is one of the most venerable vineyards in the Médoc. Its vineyard was originally established in the early 17th century by the Squires de Bretonneau who held it until the French revolution. In 1862 Baron Alfred de Luze purchased the beautiful 300 acre estate.
Paveil de Luze is unique in many respects. Its 80 acre vineyard remains unchanged from its bounderies three centuries ago. A blend of varied gravels provides natural drainage which accounts for delicacy and finesse in the finished wines.
Nice flavours of very crystalized fruit, and jelly fruit. Floral and elegant nose and very subtle in the mouth. Young wine with character not yet melted in the final.
